Annotation

DUMARESQ is Queensland-born Hobart-based vocalist/producer Joe Kneipp, who named himself after the 200km river in Australia's Northern Tablelands, near his original home.

The Dumaresq River forms part of the border between New South Wales and Queensland, and it's traditional custodians are the Bigambul people who refer to it as Karaula. Joe's influences vary from Daft Punk to McLusky to The Tallest Man on Earth.

Joe is also a member of indie-rock project Maison Hall, and has toured domestically and internationally as a session musician for Fletcher Gull, Harper Bloom and others. Joe’s music has been featured in NME and Rolling Stone Australia, and has received radio support from triple J, 4zzz, FBi Radio, and more.
