Somewhat mysterious pianist, Call Cobbs crossed the road of many emblematic figures of the jazz history - from Art Tatum, to Billie Holiday, to John Coltrane, or Kenny Clarke.
Interestingly present during most of Albert Ayler's career, he passed shortly after him.
