Annotation

R. Crumb is Robert Crumb, the celebrated underground cartoonist. The ensemble R. Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders recorded three albums of 1920s-style music during the 1970s. These were released as R. Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders, R. Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders Number Two and R. Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders Number Three. The latter two albums have been subsequently re-released as Chasin' Rainbows and Singing in the Bathtub respectively.

The group also released several singles in the 1970s -- as 78 rpm discs.
