performs and writes as Jack Hammer

George Stone is pretty sure an alias of him ... some Nina Simone releases credit the song Plain Gold Ring to George Stone, some to Earl Burroughs.
On release Nina Simone in Concert the song "Plain Gold Ring" is credited to Earl Burroughs, BMI; Hank Snow Music Inc (which was the publisher I think).
Searching BMI (http://repertoire.bmi.com/startpage.asp) for "Plain Gold Ring" reveals George Stone as author (BMI Work #1177956), (they don't have an Earl Burroughs as author);
searching ASCAP (https://www.ascap.com/Home/ace-title-search/index.aspx) for the same reveals Jack Hammer as author (authors Earl Burroughs and Earl S Burroughs aim to the same work by Jack Hammer) (Work ID: 460027550, ISWC: T0701654401).
So George Stone might well be might an pseudonym for Earl Burroughs.
There is a source: http://www.originals.be/en/originals.php?id=4893 but I don't know how reliable it is.
(we can delete all this after having a reliable source ...)
