Shanti People is a Kyiv-based World music band performing Vedic Mantras in combination with groovy electronics. The band was based in 2008.
Ethnic instruments such as tanpura,tabla,harmonium
on one hand,drums & bass guitar on the other along with visual projections create proper atmosphere during their shows.
Shanti People already had played at the various World festivals: Ozora, Summer Never Ends, Trimurti, FourЭ, GogolFest, Kraina Mriy, Ultra Vague, Put' k Sebe, Kvammanga, Veda Life, Inne Brzmienia, Radhadesh Summer Holi Festival as well as solo concerts in Germany, Austria, Spain, Belgium, Chech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and others.
Shanti People songs are played on Amazing Radio UK and Australian Ancient Vedic Radio.
A fusion of ancient Mantras and contemporary sound does attract lots of very different people to their shows all over the globe.
