Gasp (Electronic music artist Brian McCauley)

Gasp (aka Brian McCauley) has been playing with drum machines since 1989. After 15 years of playing with various bands across the genres, he started spinning drum and bass in 1997. As a founder of the San Francisco based Stress Collective he threw numerous underground events around the bay area. Moving towards more experimental sounds, he became part of the Terpsichore Group, and a resident at the weekly Synapse event in SF. Now residing in Portland, OR, gasp is a resident at the weekly Laptop Lounge, a night of computer based music.
