"Assembled by North Star to create a collection of timeless standards, this remarkable group features some of the brightest stars on the New England jazz scene. Pianist Paul Schmeling is chairman of the piano department at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where trumpeter Jeff Stout is also on the faculty. Drummer Alan Dawson is an institution on the international jazz scene, both for his playing and his teaching. Also featured are guitarist Jerry Beaudoin, Roomful of Blues saxophonist Rich Lataille, and harmonica virtuoso Mike Turk."
