Ahmed Abdul-Malik (from 13.08.1957 on)
Shadow Wilson (drums)

Wilbur Ware played in the quartet from opening of the Five Spot Concerts on 18 July 1957, and was replaced by Ahmed Abdul-Malik on the evening of 13 August after failing, without warning, to appear for work.
