Frankie Dunlop

An extravagant drummer, Mr Dunlop, like many musicians playing essentially as sidemen, is somewhat fading out of memories.
So to set the record: Dunlop career spans half a century, and counts a hundred published records, with the most prestigious names in jazz, including Monk, Rollins, Mingus, Ellington, and many others.
Dunlop also led a few sessions on his own.
