Formed in Brooklyn, NY, USA and originally known as the Disco 3. After winning a talent contest in 1983, the trio changed their name & recorded a series of good-time party anthems & songs humorously exploiting their weight hence "Fat Boys".

Members: Mark "Prince Markie Dee" Morales, Damon "Kool Rock-Ski" Wimbley, and Darren "Buff the Human Beat Box" Robinson
