Annotation
Although originally credited to "Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five", the classic hip hop track "The Message" was actually a collaboration between Melle Mel and Duke Bootee (a session musician for Sugar Hill Records). It is only on recent re-issues (and The Message II (Survival) that Bootee and Melle Mel are given main credit as artists, but sleeves continue to vary in the order that the names appear (see Wikipedia).
