Real Fur

Real Fur play muscular pop: the strong, syncopated rhythms found in highlife and new wave are mixed with a sense of melody and 3-part vocal harmony. The London band have been redefining the conventional gig venue by hosting parties in everyday establishments such as laundrettes, closed-down Post Offices and inner-city farms. Along with Real Fur’s performance, these ‘Safari Funk’ events present the work of artists, film-makers, and other musicians. The first Safari Funk Laundrette tour of the UK took place in May 2011 promoting the bands debut single Animal which was released 6th June.
