Born in Portland, Oregon, and raised between Washington and California, Bucky spent his formative years navigating displacement—traveling the country as a missing person while still a teenager, with long periods spent in hospitals and state-run systems after being abandoned at 16.

Music was a constant—an immersive form of escape and reflection. Though always present in his life, it wasn’t until 2023 that Bucky fully committed to turning his experience into a complete body of work. Since then, he's remained independent and self-sustained, creating from an off-grid location in Hoodsport, Washington, where solitude allows the work to remain unfiltered and focused.
