The Sea The Sea (Oxford, UK)

The Sea The Sea washed up in 2012. David Freeman and Danny Crane-Brewer were the first to be pulled from the ocean, Matthew Clarkson a little while after, and then Matteo Cocco and Simon Talbot were found clinging to a buoy. All were taken to Oxford docks and during convalescence began making music together.

They play dream pop with influences reaching out like throbbing tentacles into expanses of post-punk, post-rock and baroque pop.
