Empty (australian electronic-industrial band)

~ Group

Annotation

Empty define themselves as an Electronic-Industrial band, who's music has evolved into a style that draws upon the diverse sounds of Dark-Electro and a unique, melodic collaboration of Pop and Industrial.

Founding band members Aaron Potter and Daniel Brunet began Empty in 2005 with the clear intention of delivering a diverse, new, electronic sound to the already thriving underground Industrial scene in Sydney, Australia.

The initial MP3 release of the demo album "Abandon All Hope" began circulating around popular file sharing networks and into the hands of DJs across the globe. This later led to the independent release of the debut EP "Open Aeon" on the Aphotic Audio label in May, 2006.

2007 brings an expansion to the band to include live drummer, Angelo Handabak and bassist Kandie Lei. This addition defines a whole new depth of sound and marks a new chapter for Empty as a live performing band.

Currently, Empty are rehearsing for live shows and are in the process of recording their first full-length studio album.
