In November 1998, Alice Cooper’s publishing company Seven Palms Music filed a plagiarism suit against Paul Stanley and Bruce Kulick, claiming this song ripped off Cooper’s 1971 hit “I’m Eighteen.” The case was settled out of court in August 1999.
The song appears to have been decertified by ASCAP, as it does not show up in their ACE database.
