Annotation
Recorded in New York city 1939-44
On the cover it says "Fine and Mellow 1939 and 1944"
So, maybe "1939 and 1944" is a subtitle.
In that case the title should be "Fine and Mellow: 1939 and 1944"
On the library where I borrowed this CD, however - the title is just "Fine and Melow"
