Be aware that this is not (exactly) what you would expect it to be.
This is neither a cheesy European bundle smashing together public domain Decca tapes, neither yet another Verve sampler covering the songbooks, neither a late Concord attempt at making doe without material (when compared to the Verve vaults).
This is from the (least known, for good reasons) Capitol period.
Note that in itself that compilation is not essentially bad - and despite a somewhat repulsive sleeve, Curb made a decent job at selecting the most relevant cuts from that period - if any cuts from that period are relevant... which is exactly the problem here: the material.
As a reviewer put it earlier in a very funny way: "Although nobody needed the proof, here is more evidence that [Ella Fitzgerald] could sing anything".
Now, it's up to you to decide if yourself are ready to buy just anything...
