Release details discussion:
I saw at least three differently formated cat # on the copy of the release sleeve from which I sourced the Geffen entry:
Note that I have no proof this is the one released in 1985.
Possibly, M5G-24096 has been used on cassettes.
Some sources additionaly mentions (prepended 9) 924096 and 924096-2 (CD) (possibly used only in Germany?).
Discogs comes with its very own 9 24095-1 on LPs (Germany 1986), which I tend to think is bogus...
Other rumors about cat # 19195 (possibly 8811919528, possibly europe only, possibly 1993/03).
The initial release was made (also) on CD, though at that time the CD were limited to about 48 minutes.
Besides the initial 1985 release date, and the Rhino 2004 reissue, the following dates also pops-up (though I was unable to associate them with a specific cat number, or confirm them firmly):
1990/10/17, US, CS (possibly M5G-24096)
1991/10/21, US, CD
1991/12/16, Japan, CD
1993/02/02, Germany, CD (possibly 8811919528?)
Cover design by Norman Moore
