Annotation
Per the German Wikipedia, this release (originally in 1972) is a version of Offenbach's opera known as the "Guiraud version," created by Ernest Guiraud.
This release was also using the "alternate order" (Prologue-Olympia-Giulietta-Antonia-Epilogue), although only the three middle acts were numbered.

There is some confusion regarding when this was recorded.
The old Decca Classics CD release (417 363-2) has no date listed for the recording anywhere in the packaging.
Wikipedia and CLOR both state this was recorded in 1971, but both claims are unsourced.
Presto lists a recording date of 1971-08-19, but it is implausible that a studio recording such as this should be recorded in the space of one day. The same Presto gives 1972-06 for the Highlights version.
Maybe sourced from this an annotation on a MusicBrainz release also states this was recorded in June 1972, but, while plausible, this is unsourced and unverified.
