This single’s official release was cancelled after the Great Hanshin Earthquake struck on January 17, 1995. Yumi Matsutoya thought the title track’s lyrics were potentially offensive to survivors of the disaster, so she requested the single release be cancelled. She also requested that the song not be included on the album KATHMANDU, but the record company did not yield to this demand.
