How to propose new relationship types

Do not propose new relationship types here! Instead you should propose and discuss new types on the UsersMailingList and then the StyleMailingList. (for instrument additions, please see InstrumentAdditionDiscussion)

If some rough consensus is reached there, then create a page (after reading of HowToWriteAdvancedRelationshipsDocumentation) for the new relationship type. Give this page the CategoryProposedAdvancedRelationshipType and the page will automatically be listed here. When working on a new type you might find AdvancedRelationshipAttributeSyntax helpful.

The list below does not mean that these proposed types will necessarily get implemented in the near future. See OpenStyleIssues to get an overview which style-related issues are on the StyleCouncils to-do list.
