How to delete a page

With our old UseMod, it was sufficient that a page starts with a link to DeletedPage, then it was considered "marked for deletion", and would eventually be expired after 60 days (as long as someone with the rights to delete pages stumbles over one of those pages).

Now with MoinMoin pages need to be deleted by hand. This means, the 60 day period is no strict limit. A page that is listed here for at least 60 days since the DeletedPages link was put on it and that has not been edited since then will be deleted by a member of the MoinPagesEditorGroup.

Pages are marked for deletion when they are off-topic. If you believe that a page has been erroneously marked for deletion, remove the tag again and change the page such that it is more obvious why it is on-topic.

If you are not sure whether a page should be deleted, then mark it as a CandidateForDeletion.
