The correct spelling is Nat King Cole without the quotation marks. King was not a nick-name but his actual name. Mr. Cole never used quotations on his name during his life, unfortunately after his death a few record releases used quotation marks and for some reason that has overtaken the overwhelming vast number of correct uses of his name.
