Having no musical background or formal teaching, Sri-Lankan born Londoner Suren Seneviratne aka My Panda Shall Fly has gone through many an incarnation until he found where he was comfortable – from shoe-gaze, post-rock in his early teens to sound manipulation and experimentation in his later years. Having graduated from the world-famous Fine Art degree course at Goldsmiths University, My Panda Shall Fly went on to release his debut EP on Dam Mantle’s Growing Records & Wichita Recordings - which saw incredible support from the likes of Pitchfork, Dazed Digital, Clash Magazine, XLR8R, The Fader, The Independent, Dummy magazine & more.

Following that came an onslaught of incredible remixes for the likes of The Weeknd, Fink, Psychologist & Little Boots.

Since the beginning of 2012, My Panda Shall Fly has had a track on a three-hour CD and digital compilation released by Prague's AM DISCS label, and put out a collaborative 12” vinyl release with Benjamin Jackson on the Five Easy Pieces record label humorously titled "Let's Vibrate Together".

Other projects in the pipeline include a thirty-minute ambient, lo-fi cassette tape release with AM DISCS and another collaboration 7” single with Adventure Elephant on Tape Club Records. He has also been busy in the studio with Engineer Asier Leatxe Ibañez d'Opakoa (Electric Lady Studios, NYC) finishing a six-track Tropical concept album which was completed over the course of five months incorporating live instrumentation as well as electronics, which is being planned for release by the end of 2012.
