One of the top piano accompanist of the 50's and 60's era, Wynton Kelly contributions to Miles Davis formations are to be remembered - and to less extent Charles Mingus' .
His own discography includes some fine sessions, unfortunately interrupted by a premature death.
Kelly at Midnight, or Whisper Not are both excellent entrances to his world.
