honestly, i think this could well be the UK punk group themselves. the band singing this parody version "I Heard It Thru the Bassline" ("I Heard It Through the Grapevine") looks and sounds a lot like the original group, especially the female lead vocalist (Ari Up?) with the Medusa dreadlocks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLmktK3TotY
