the german indietronic band from bocholt, a small town in nrw, was founded 1998. individual noises and sounds with edges are the special features of the compositions mostly written in cloudy minor...

2005 the band collaborate with the globally successful metal band "wizard" (www.legion-of-doom.de). m.o.n.o. wrote the orchestra arrangements for their chartalbum “magic hall”. they were also involved into the recordings to “odin” (bonus track “golden dawn”) and editing the video “warriors of the night”.

the focus returns to m.o.n.o. 2008 and their work “the cities and the trees”, the second studioalbum. an embrace between loud citysounds and earthy wooden noises.
