Futuristic Retro Champions

Annotation
Futuristic Retro Champions are a 4-piece pop outfit based in Glasgow and Edinburgh. They formed in 2006, when singer Sita Pieraccini and keyboardist Carla Easton were living in a small pink shack in Lithuania while on exchange at art college. The songs they wrote while away were fleshed out upon their return by bassist Ceal Stamp and producer and guitarist Harry Weeks. They have played with Kate Nash, Glasvegas, Friendly Fires, Manda Rin, The Vaselines, Charlotte Hatherley and Ladyhawke among others and have developed an avid following of pop-fanatics in the central belt of Scotland. They aim to fuse the melodic pop songwriting of Kylie, Betty Boo and 60s girlgroups with punchy, grungy guitar and bass, and big electronic drums and synths.
