BIO
Kaydee aka K-Skills hails from Maryland/Washington D.C . Heavely influenced by hip-hop since 1990, Kaydee was drivin by the often under-appreciated golden age of rap (1984-94). His first single “First Class”(distributed by Fatbeats) was released in 1998 and received a tremendous response from Europe, Canada and Australia. The record landed them on radio shows like "The Stretch & Bobbito Show" (WKCR 89.9), NYU Radio hosted by DJ Eclipse and at "The Nuyorican Café" performing along side of artist like Company Flow and J-Zone. His second single "Creativity" featuring Dr.Becket and El da Sensei (formally of The Artifacts) was released in 2000 and got rave reviews from magazines like URB and Elemental. The track was also licensed by BMG/Ariola Media in Germany for a compilation album.

In 2001, K collaborated with Celph Titled & Apathy and dropped the 12”inch release "Get off my nuts" and that’s when K struck a nerve. Kaydee and Celph got to work and released his forth single "Who's Fuckin Around" on Bronx Science Records. In 2002, K-Skills, J-Live, 7L & Esoteric and Apathy hit the road in Europe for 25 shows on the True School Academics Tour.

Since the tour Kaydee has released 3 import records. The Sonic Energy EP on JUJU Records in Sweden, a remix single for Italian R&B artist Alexia “Come tu mi Vuoi” on Sony Records/Italia and “Living Trife” featuring Maylay Sparks which is featured on the UK release "Elbow Grease" released on Suspect Packages. In 2009 Kayee signed a exclusive 2 year record deal with Grind/Kudos and re-released the "Kaydee and Chief are The Groove LP".
