Walter Booker

~ Person

Annotation

If not a revolutionary contrabass player, Mr Booker is a talented and somewhat underrated accompanist, also competent with a bow.
A regular member of Adderleys formations from the late 60's to 70 period, he can also be heard in Pharoah Sanders groups and on a number of other prestigious jazz records - although he never recorded as a leader.
