24 year-old Stylo G is from South London but Jamaican-born. He is part of a group known to many by the name, The ~WARNING CREW. Stylo G (Jason McDermott) was born on 16 July 1985, in Spanish Town, Jamaica, He and his brother Kody Star (Crazy Cousinz) have been involved in UK music scene from arrival, aged 15 writing tracks for various artists in the UK. He is known as the 'Hitmaker' since he has helped create some great hits for many talented artists in the UK. Growing up, his musical heroes were early 1990s ragga acts such as Shabba Ranks and Super Cat and his father - Poison Chang.(who delivered the early global 90’s hit Press-up Press-up) Aged just 7, Stylo G was performing on stage with his father. He is determined to take his music career seriously and is in it for life. Musically, he is currently the co-founder of Warning Crew who have climbed the ranks in the UK dancehall scene. Since the single MY YOUT which had major chart success. Recently Stylo G has won an award for his forthcoming release - Jamaicans in Britain - which targeted the problems that Jamaican faced once living in Britton or being deported to or from Britton. Stylo G's 1st love is reggae but also loves hip-hop, RnB and UK music. His 1st release - My Yout - was an instant hit. His current work is getting great acclaim and the 1st Warning Crew Album is a true example of his versatility and skill. The hit remake of Birthday S.E.X. JAMAICAN S.E.X. has had worldwide airplay some have said its the next best thing since Romping shop(Vybez Kartel). His new released song "Leader" is once another hit in the dancehall scene, which has DJ's in Portugal, Africa, USA & Jamaica requesting his music to make mix CD's for the globe. Unreleased songs are causing a frenzy among DJs. Also, such Songs as "Momma Don't Cry" feat; Lamahra Starr, (a complermation from the hit, EVERY THINGS GONNA BE ALRIGHT Bob Marley) Stylo has also worked with UK artist such as Tiney Tempa, Giggs & Chipmunk. ("I'm a Hit Maker" feat; Chipmunk). He has Worked with Many well known Jamaican Artist such as Assailant (Alliance), Chi-Ching "Nuh Man to Mi Ting" feat; Chi Ching Ching. Also former member of Vybez Kartel’s GAZA Lisa Hype which is still yet to be released. Stylo G will continue to supply hard hitting hits for the future to come because his fans demand his music and he loves each one of his fans.
