CANDIDATE23 are a new wave indie pop 5 piece from North West, England. Following success of recent releases, their second EP ‘Recurring Dreams’ is out on 6th May and will be launched at Liverpool Sound City (Liverpool ONE Dome Stage) in front of an expected 2000 capacity crowd. A miss mash of influences from The Wombats to Foals, their new EP knocks viscously on the door of the pop world whilst relaxing gently with the discreet tones of ambience.
Their live stage shows capture breaths and energetic character to release feet from floors, CANDIDATE23 take beauty and heart into every live gig giving those out there a personal touch and a show to remember.
Recent recognition from BBC Introducing, becoming ‘Pick of the week’, and BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe commenting positively on CANDIDATE23’s EP has only confidently brightened their future as they continue to write and grow as a band.
