Crowded House was an Australasian rock group; two original members were from Australia and one was from New Zealand. Performing in the 1980s and 1990s, the group was based around the songwriting and vocal talents of New Zealand born lead singer, composer and guitarist Neil Finn.

Crowded House are a pop rock band formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985. Founding members are New Zealander Neil Finn (vocalist, guitarist, primary songwriter), and Australians Paul Hester (drums) and Nick Seymour (bass). Later band members included Neil's brother, Tim Finn, and Americans Mark Hart and Matt Sherrod. Crowded House are referred to as The Crowdies by Australian fans.
