Annotation
Alex Cornish is a singer songwriter from Edinburgh whose debut album ‘Until The Traffic Stops’ (released on 6 April 2009) was written, played, sung and produced in his Edinburgh bedroom. It has provoked the kind of tips and plays that any major-label release would beg for - Five weeks on the Radio 2 playlist, Radcliffe & Maconie single of the week, sessions for Radio 2, 6 Music, XFM, BBC Radio Scotland, a song played over the end credits of a Hollywood film and The Sunday Times’ “hottest download of the week”. The singles lifted from the album are as follows: 'Until the Traffic Stops' (September 2008), 'My Word What a Mess' (April 2009). The next single from the album will be 'Untied' (released as a download only single on 12 October 2009).
