Annotation
Tank86 is a heavy instrumetal 4-piece hauling from the south of the Netherlands. They started in late 2004, with heavy riffs, psychedelic grooves and unpredictable dynamics. In 2005 Tank 86 recorded a convincing CD that established their reputation a heavy rocking force to be reckoned with.
In 2007 Tank 86 teamed up with a new drummer.
2008 saw the release of their new album “Behold”. With this album they delved way deeper into the depths of instrumetal heavyness, confirming their status as a riffing force.
In 2008 they played alongside the likes of Monster Magnet, Dead Meadow, Peter Pan Speedrock and Triggerfinger.
2008 also saw the startup of the Tank86 pioneered Rising Magma Heavy festival that has been touring with heavy bands all over Holland. (www.risingmagma.com)
