Annotation

Originally, Harrison was first tenor, Wells second tenor, Sarto baritone, and Croxton bass. First Burr, then Miller, replaced Wells as second tenor. When Miller left the group in 1920, Harrison switched to being the second tenor for the group. The identity of the tenor who then took over the first tenor role is unknown, though it is known that some tenor did do so.

Croxton left the group at the end of 1919 due to his having signed an exclusivity contract with Victor. The identity of his replacement is likewise unknown.

The group was dissolved in the end of 1921. The last release credited to the Columbia Stellar Quartet was A3469, "Nearer, My God, to Thee", though their last actual release was A3513 "Georgia Rose", credited to the "Broadway Quartet".
