L.A. Salami (Lookman Adekunle Salami)

Lookman Adekunle Salami, better known by his stage name L.A. Salami, is a singer-songwriter from London who British fashion brand Fred Perry compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell and Neil Young.
His music has been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, BBC London and XFM.
L.A. Salami's first notable break came in 2012 when chosen to support Lianne La Havas on tour. Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative Officer at fashion house Burberry, then got in contact to arrange a Burberry Acoustic Session which led to L.A. Salami opening the Burberry Prorsum Menswear Spring/Summer 2014 show in Kensington Palace Gardens, Hyde Park.
On 20 June 2013 the Evening Standard newspaper ran a full page piece on L.A. Salami in the form of an interview with journalist Susannah Butter where he talks openly about growing up and developing a fascination with music.
