Formed in Los Angeles, CA, USA in 1979. Members included: Joanne "Jojo" McDuffie (the main singer), Candice "Candi" Ghant, Kim "Maxi" Wuletich, and Ann "Cheri" Bailey.

In 1985, Ann "Cheri" Bailey was replaced by Yvette "Corvette" Marine.
