Annotation

Preceded the 'New Romantic' movement by too many months to profit from association with it, Original Mirrors came out of Liverpool from the ashes of 'Deaf School' together with Ian Broudie (ex 'Big in Japan' and 'Frankie Goes to Hollywood', later to be 'The Lightning Seeds'). A first single produced by Bill Nelson failed to make sufficient impact in the public's imagination, denting the prospects of the excellent 'Boys Cry'. Split after a similarly poor reception for their second album 'Heart, Twango and Raw Beat'.
