- Deporitaz was originally named Trapezoid, and was the first major musical project of Neil Cicierega. In 2003 he ended Trapezoid and moved on to Lemon Demon, but Trapezoid was posthumously anagrammed to Deporitaz due to a trademark issue that came up.
- For a long time the album "Microwave This CD" was missing as there were no known copies and all information had been lost by Neil Cicierega. However in 2010 a copy of the album was found.
