I Haunt Wizards

I Haunt Wizards is an innovative trio of kids reared on an exotic cocktail of Eighties pop culture and modern day dance music. Billed by many as the UKs answer to Lady Gaga and currently sharing column inches with Little Boots, La Roux and Ladyhawke. The Wizards are Helen Kirby, vocals. Zac Holden, drums and James Lavelle, Synth, all 18 years old from Brighton, England.

The three were so inspired by listening to the likes of Madonna and Human League, they hatched a plan to revive the magic of the 80s. The Result, celebrated tracks, Talk to Me, Along came Polly, Over You and More Than a Friend.

The Wizards have spent the majority of 2008 at the top the Myspace charts, reaching well over 3 million plays in the process as well as completing countless sell out dates across the UK including Londons Astoria and Manchester, Oxford and Bristol Academies to rapturous audiences. Not to mention playing The Great Escape, Isle of Wight and
Underage Festivals.

2009 has seen I Haunt Wizards continue their stay at the top of the Myspace charts, play numerous sell out dates at venues including Fabric, Cargo and Proud Galleries, support such artists as Mr Hudson, Chipmunk, Killa Kella, JME, You Love Her Coz Shes Dead, Kid British and Crystal Castles and be named as the band to watch in 2009 by Vodafone.

With a look as pretty and sexy as their sound, the Wizards are three major talents brilliantly blended into one very marketable package. So it is no surprise that the year also brought serious interest from national radio, TV, press and many major record labels both here and the US.
